Incredibly well stocked local pet store. Taste of the Wild dry cat food and BFF canned cat food is cheaper here than online! Special orders no problem. Convenient to us and good hours.
Had high hopes... groomer was super nice and seemed very knowledgeable. When I dropped off my dog the lady at the front counter in the store section was odd and very unfriendly but in the grooming area the groomer and her trainee seemed helpful. She showed me a special brush for my dog and said when I pick up she would give me the website address and show me how to use this brush so my dog would not get mats in the future. I was informed they would call me when my dog was ready... about 4pm I finally called and asked when I could pick up and the lady who answered told me he had been ready. So this was my first indication that this store was not what I thought they were... when I get to the store a different cashier was working the front counter and when I inquired about my dog she said you will have to ask Margaret in the back I don't know, this interchange was delivered in a rude manner. When I got to the grooming section there was a different groomer, apparently Margaret, working on the nails of a small dog. I said excuse me... she did not look up and in a mean voice her reply was 'What'? Then the front desk lady yelled back through the store wait I found the paperwork and I can check you out. So I returned back to the front and paid, at this point the cashier was a little friendlier but I had decided that this was not a place I would be returning. After paying we head back to the grooming area to pick up our dog who had been there since 11am. The groomer was still super rude and said you will have to wait I can not put this dog down. We then heard our dog whining as he heard our voices so she decides to get up and actually get our pet for us. I could not see where he was being kept but I could tell he was on the ground in a small space and he is a 65 lb dog. I know we had some challenging mats on his chest and legs as I have not been able to brush him as well as I needed due to a injury but our dog was shaved. At the worst this cut should have been a inch or so long but even his paws are shaved like a vet is getting ready to do surgery .... this is a complete cop out on trying to do anything and could not have taken the groomer 30 mins to shave a dog. I will not be returning to this establishment.
Took my son's dog to get groomed and they seemed friendly. Went back and got her and when we walked around, guess no one saw us, we heard them yelling at our dog. So do not know if they did that the whole time but I assume probably so.
They sell raw, which is great, but have almost nothing marked with prices. That's super annoying. Wanted to grab a cat wand and dog treats but nothing had a price. Their solution, which they told us, is to bring everything up to the register to scan. Not interested in bringing 20+ items up to the register because of your inability to mark your prices. Lost a sale from me.
Fun store! All the people we've met there have been friendly and their selection is pretty great. The grooming is a little pricey, but they do a fantastic job and are so kind and gentle with the animals - totally worth the price! Our dogs love Miss Brittany!
